Avalanche Entertainment started business in 2000 and became recognized by the State of Georgia in 2001. The core administrative and talent roster made up of Robert Lammers, Beth Vennestrom and Kirkley Hennessy, had a vision to provide quality entertainment by full-time professionals.

Where did the name come from?
A gentlemen who resides in Atlanta named Stewart King. He simply stated "It has to be a natural disaster!"
